Comfort Suites Southport - Oak Island

Location: the hotel was really close to the Brunswick County beaches and restaurants. I had quick lunch at Taco Bell, located quite a walk from the venue. The room was functional and recently refurbished, with a great decor. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, I also had central heating, television and a microwave oven.

Booking advertised this hotel much closer to town. Is not walking distance to water

The staff was exceptional. There was a problem with our booking, they did not have our reservation from Booked.net, however, Melissa and Kimberly were more than gracious in rectifying the problem and making sure we were happy. The beaches were close by. We will definitely stay here again!! And refer friends.....

Everything was far above our expectation. The staff, the food, the cleanliness were awesome.

The bathroom sink faucet didn't work and the drain was extremely slow.

The breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower head need to be changed out....old.

I was charge a higher rate because they could not find my reservation...not happy.

This is in a great, central location. It was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Very family friendly.

The room was not cleaned during our stay. We had to hunt down the maids to get new towels or to get them to take our trash. We were told by employee admission that they aren't supposed to clean occupied rooms.

The room was clean and cozy, and we loved how helpful Jeanne was with breakfast-everything was fresh! Only issue was the noise from neighboring rooms. Could hear too much chatter and sneezes. The picnic area was a cute hangout spot, though!

Breakfast great, bathrooms seemed dated as well as rooms but definitely a nice place to stay.

Staff could have informed me that using debit card charges right away but credit cards wouldn't charge until check out. They told me it wouldn't charge until check out but they already charged it and charged me the fee. I told them that my father was going to pay when check out.

A great stay with a spacious Queen Suite with two comfortable beds. The breakfast options were excellent, especially the good waffles that changed daily. The front desk staff and housekeeping were friendly, contributing to a cute atmosphere. The small pillows on the beds were a disappointment, as larger ones would have enhanced comfort. The hotel's age was evident, but overall, it was a lovely weekend getaway.

We were originally in a room next to the elevator and it was VERY noisy. I told the staff and they moved us right away. The bed was comfortable and I liked that the room was big.

The room was near the elevator and it was very noisy. The fan in the bathroom was also very noisy.
